J. David Trotter formed HTH Capital, Ltd. in 1998 with partner Kevin Hunter. Mr. Trotter's real estate experience spans nearly four decades. During that time he has purchased, managed, overseen development and acquired financing for over 170,000 square feet of medical and general office space and over 30,000 acres of land in the State of Texas.
Mr. Trotter graduated from the University of Kansas with honors earning his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Accounting. He earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence with honors from the University of Texas at Austin. He has over 35 years of experience in real estate, corporate and oil and gas transactions, though he no longer actively practices law.
Kevin E. Hunter, Principal
Kevin E. Hunter moved to Austin in 1998 where he established a full service real estate firm, HTH Capital, Ltd. with partner, David Trotter. Mr. Hunter and his management team are responsible for the day to day development, leasing and management of medical office buildings in Central Texas.
Mr. Hunter graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1994 with a Bachelors degree in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant and licensed Real Estate Broker. Prior to forming HTH he worked in Houston, Texas for Arthur Andersen as a public auditor and Simmons and Company International as an investment banker specializing in mergers and acquisitions and capital financings.
Rachel A. Knox, Principal
Rachel Knox joined HTH in 2002. Today she leads the management team and is active in the leasing and brokerage of medical office properties around Central Texas.
Ms. Knox is a licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Texas and a Certified Public Accountant. She has a Masters in Professional Accountancy from the University of Texas at Austin, with a specialization in taxation and Bachelors degrees in both Economics and Geography with honors, from the University of Texas at Austin with an emphasis in Environmental Studies. She is currently pursuing designation as a Certified Property Manager and is an active member of BOMA, Austin.
